Enhancing digital sponsorship experience

Projeto Reconstruir is a nonprofit social organization that supports over 75 children and adolescents from the Morro das Pedras community in Belo Horizonte. Their website was outdated, visually inconsistent, and lacked functionality — especially for mobile users and international donors.
➡️ I volunteered to redesign and rebuild the website from scratch, leading the full UX and UI process, as well as front-end development. This included research, layout design, and implementation using responsive and pixel-perfect techniques.
➡️ I began with benchmarking similar nonprofit platforms, then mapped content priorities and structured the information architecture to support intuitive navigation, better donation visibility, and mobile-first usage.
➡️ After defining the moodboard and style guide, I created high-fidelity layouts and conducted collaborative alignment meetings to refine structure and tone. I developed the site in both Portuguese and English to broaden its global reach.
Launched in February 2022, the project delivered:
• A fully redesigned and responsive website for desktop, tablet, and mobile
• A donation experience integrated with international payment support
• Custom design aligned with the NGO’s identity and values
• A maintainable platform, still updated by me as a volunteer
